Yu Zhang is a senior research scientist at SenseTime, where he works on
computer vision and machine learning. He also serves as a visiting researcher
at CVTEAM led by Prof. Jia Li, Beihang University. He received PhD in Computer 
Science from Beihang University, Berkeley in 2018, where he was advised by
Qinping Zhao and Jia Li, and he received BSc in Computer Science from the
Beihang University in 2012. He received the Outstanding Doctorial Dissertation 
Awards of Beihang University in 2019, the National Graduate Scholarship in
2015, the Best Paper Award of Computational Graphics International (CGI) in
2018, and the Best Paper Award of IEEE International Conference on Multimedia 
Big Data (BigMM) in 2015.
